new items on TiVo home screen

In the last few days some new menu items have suddenly popped up on my TiVo home screen...one that says something like "exciting new features on TiVo" and "indirect road to college hoops". There is no way to delete these. Will they disappear on their own at some point?

Yes. Search for "Yellow Stars."

the "exciting new features on TiVo" line does not have a yellow star in front of it. Will this too disappear at some point?

You apparently spend way too much time looking at that screen.

They will drop off after awhile.
