Toasted my TCD540040 Drive....
I tried to upgrade my drive to a WD1200 (120gb by Western Digital) and in the process the WD1200 didn't take the copy and now my TIVO drive now boots to a grey screen when in the TIVO unit.

Any suggestions?

If you made a backup on your hard drive, then restore it to the original TiVo drive and see what happens.
