Over the last week, both of my TIVOs have developed an interesting issue. For some reason some hour long shows stop recording - for no apparent purpose - about 5-8 minutes before the end of a show. There is not necessairly another show after it (so overlapping is not part of the equation). I even told it to record one of the shows again at 3am - near nothing else, and it stopped recording at the exact same spot on the show.
The shows it has done it to so far are:
Dr. Who (but only the first one)
ER
The Little Zoo
House
A couple others that I can't think of.
Has anyone seen this behavior? I would say it is an individual TIVO unit problem, but both units are doing it. They have plenty of recording space available too.
