Remote Scheduling Web Down
I tried several times to access the Remote Scheduling from TiVo Central Online. The search works and I was able to select a show to record, but when you attempt to sign-in, it does not recognize your login information. I tried many times with the same negative result. I was able to login normally to Manage Your Account, etc. While logged-in in this manner, when you select TiVo Central Online from the left navigation panel, you get a broken link.
I called TiVo and they said that the page had been down a couple of days already and that they were working on it.
I'll just have to remember what I wanted to schedule when I get home!

Everything seems to work for me. I just looked up and scheduled a recording while signed in. I have two TiVo units on my account and am using Firefox from my (slowish) work connection. Comcast cable in southern NJ.

I just tried it again and confirm that it appears to be working. I guess they fixed it.

Hi guys,
To my knowledge we haven't experienced any downtime for TiVo Central Online. I have checked the stats and we're seeing tons of successful recordings being scheduled. I was able to log in and schedule a recording myself just now.
Rainwater and windracer, can you post the steps to reproduce the problem and indicate the exact error messages you see?
Best regards,
Stephen

I too am having am having trouble signing into TCO ( https://www3.tivo.com/tivo-tco/login/show.do). Here's my use case:
1. Went to http://www.tivo.com/manage and website shows me signed out. Did not sign in
2. Went to TCO and signed in with my email & password. I get the error message in ERROR_A below.
3. Went back to http://www.tivo.com/manage & website now shows me signed in.
4. Clicked on TCO & get message "Sorry, but we encountered an error while processing your request. Please try again later."
ERROR_A:
"No account found. If you have an account under different e-mail address, please user it to sign in. To skip this step in the future, please update your profiles to use the same e-mail address."
EDIT: Adding rest of ERROR_A message.

Stephen ... it's working for me now, this evening (Firefox and IE). Maybe it was just a fluke of trying to connect from work, I don't know.

"Excuse me. Exactly how much is 'a ton'?"

I tried to use remote scheduling this morning and I never could even bring up the schedule. I tried a second time about an hour later with the same results. I'm glad to know it's not just me.

FYI, I had this same problem yesterday when I tried to login. I wasn't doing anything special, just firing up Firefox and trying to log in to TiVo.com.
(It's all working now, though. So looks like it's a non issue.)

Ok, I'm in TCO now. My earlier problems with logging into TCO were observed on both FireFox & IE.

Well, sorry to say it works for me now
But, over the past several weeks, I have had off and on problems logging in. I go to tivo.com/tco and login with my email/password. Then, I get the same login page with the following error:

The weird thing is, that if I go to tivo.com/manage after seeing this error, I am logged into my account.

I'm getting that error as well. I get it on the Mac in Safari, IE, and Firefox. In Windows XP I get it with both IE and Firefox.

Seems that I get an error if I check "remember me" but not if I leave the checkbox cleared.

This is rediculous....they act like they have no idea what your talking about, and then go on giving you reasons why its happening..... I just dont understand why they cant tell you whats going on and how it is resolved ?

Sorry to hear folks are experiencing an issue. I am able to log in and schedule recordings, and I see hundreds of recordings being scheduled every hour.
For someone who is affected, can you please send me an e-mail with the username your using and the exact error message string?
EDIT 3/28: No longer needed.
Apologies again to those affected, and for the inconvenience.
Best regards,
Stephen

Solution To Online Scheduling Issue
USE tv yahoo (you insert the 'dots') a free yahoo account, and register for recording to tivo, its simple its free and it works. I called tivo, and finally got someone who told me the truth...they are having issues with tivo com usage of online scheduling, but the tv yahoo DOES THE SAME THING....I was skeptical, so i tried it, it was easy, simple to do , and MOST IMPORTANTLY IT WORKED !......im ok with this solution. Hope it works for others. Let me know if you have additional questions.

I tried that, but it looked like I could only do individual episodes. Can you do season passes on Yahoo? I just bought a new Tivo and am transferering season passes around the house, so it would be MUCH easier to enter 40+ season passes on the computer.

Yes, you can do season passes, there are NO limitations on the yahoo part of this. It is completely intergrated with tivo, inclucing taping quality and other settings. I setup several season passes last night.

For folks still having trouble, can you try clearing your cache/cookies and try again? We're still unable to reproduce the issue.
EDIT 3/28: We've figured it out, see below. Not a cache/cookie issue.
Our apologies again for anyone affected.
Best regards,
Stephen
