HR10-250 OTA Setup (Anything special I need to do?)

Hey all,

I have a Terk TV5 and I connected it to the back of the HR10-250 unit...is this all I need to do or do I need to PHYSICALLY connect it to the dish? Any help is appreciated, thanks!

No, the antenna should just be hooked straight to the HR10-250. Have you done the OTA setup stuff on the TiVo?

There are several options in the menu, but OTA setup is not one of them. There is an option to test OTA Signal strength....Should I just repeat the Guided setup?

There is somewhere in the setup menu where you can specify if you will only have a satellite connection or satellite and OTA antenna connection. You need to specify the second one before OTA will work. Also, the OTA connection will only process digital OTA channels. Do you have digital OTA channels broadcast in your area?

You may also have to configure for dual tuners on both sat and OTA. It's in the menu, in the manual.
