Wired Tivo

I have a Netgear FA120 USB ethernet adapter that I just bought and wired the Tivo to the router. When I download a program at best quality to the computer, I'm seeing 350-400KB/s transfer speeds. Is this normal for a wired connection, or does it seem a bit slow? I've done a ping to the tivo and it shows less than 1ms.

It seems slow, but could be fine, depending in the DVR. I get 950 KB/Sec with the same adapter on my 240 S2.

300-500 KBs is all I get with my Humax T800 TiVo I also use a Netgear FA120 adapter and have direct connected it to my PC with a crossover cable and ran it through my network no real difference either way. From what I have read in this Forum the slow down is caused by the TiVo box having to prosess the file as its being transferred. The speeds I have seen very depending on what else my TiVo box is doing.
