Question re:Automatic boot-ups?

Is it possible to schedule my PC to automatically boot-up (or at least wake up from hibernating) overnight? I know how to schedule a shut-down, but I'm not sure of the best way to address the boot-up issue. Thanks in advance (also apologies in advance if this is a simple matter)!

Check the manual. I've seen machines where it's possible but it's BIOS feature so would vary depending on the hardware. Wake on LAN activity is fairly common, but why not leave the PC on and just configure power options to spin down the disks and switch off the monitor after the machine has been idle for a preset time.
