tivo cannot find adaptor

my wireless router went down and I had to reset it, now my tivo player does not show a wireless connection and cannot connect when I try to configure it for the wireless network. I have downloaded saved material before with no problem. I'm using a wireless usb adaptor on the tivo compatable for the tivo from Netgear. The network name page shows nothing and it used to show several different connections. What is the problem and how do I fix it? I have a linksys router and access to its configuration.

What are the settings on your router?

Have you confirmed that it is working as a DHCP host.

Is the network SSID being broadcast or must it be entered. If so enter it from the network name page.

Sometimes all that the DVR needs is for you to start the naming procss and then the most recent previous name will already be in the in the name field if that is the case, simply accept.
