Insignia remote control codes?

I am trying to reset my remote control and Insignia is not one of the listed television brands. Does anyone have any suggestions aside from the mega search? Is Insignia the same as Magnavox?

Just purchased a 27" Insignia TV (Model # IS-TV040923) and have an 80-hour Humax Tivo.

No amount of futzing around with other brands led me to a remote code that worked.

But I did a code search:

Hold the Tivo remote away from the TV while simultaneously pressing the TV Power button and the Tivo button.

Then enter 0-9-9-9.

Now aim the remote at the TV.

Keep pressing the Channel Up button every 2 to 3 seconds until the TV shuts off. When (or if) it does, press the Enter button (bottom right) on the Tivo remote.

Voila!

Took me about 17 or 18 tries before it worked.

If code 0091 doesn't work, then try Mitsubushi & philips Tv codes.

I got code 0091 to work for the power, volume, etc. Set-up lists this same code for the Insignia TV Input as well but when I tried it for the TV input it did not work. I tried the Mitsu and Phillips codes but none of those worked. I have the 22" and it doubles as computer monitor.
Any other codes to try. I tried the 0-9-9-9 as well and didn't find anything.

Sorry but no. if it responds to code 0091, there isn't any other code that matches it in the tivo remote. And input key has NEVER worked on so many brands of tv that have used code 0091 over the years.

Would it work if I used a learning remote like the "Glo" remote?
Don't want to invest in one unless I know it would work.

If you have the original remote with working input command, it can be taught to the GLO remote. But you will only be able to teach 5 commands to the GLO remote.
