Why is Call For Help all reruns?

I thought for awhile that they were messing up the listings and that was why my Tivo wasn't picking up Call For Help anymore. After manually recording a couple of shows at random, it seems that G4 is only showing reruns lately. Anyone know what's up with that?

It is gone, baby gone!

They didn't order anymore episodes for US release.

Gotta par for The Man Show and Star Trek somehow!

Well, the Call For Help G4 episodes at first were replays from earlier Canadian showings. Now we have repeats of those. I'm still hoping that Canadian new ones will show up here, even if delayed a bit.

It's not as if they can't trim elsewhere to make room for it.

I didn't know that it had been cancelled - I was wondering why I hadn't been getting anymore lately. Shame on G4.

I'm not sure if they are the same episodes, but most of the Canadian episodes can be found here (http://cfhtracker.info/) using BitTorrent.

I'm not sure of the schedule, so I don't know how recent they get - but it's been useful to me. Hopefully it's ok to post the link - if not, I'll remove it.

I heard Leo say on TWiT that the Man Show was one of G4's top rated shows. I mean wtf.

oh well, I enjoy TWiT more than CFH anyway.

I didn't like the format of the new CFH. I wish they just spent the whole time focusing on callers. Instead of things like Amber's Painfully Obvious tip of the day. If you want to see what programs you have in Windows XP here is a cool way, go to Start -> All Programs.
:-).

No kidding. That show is unwatchable. The commercials make it look like it's going to be fun, but it doesn't deliver.

I do like the new show Brainiac, though. It's the stuff that should have been on the Man Show, blowing stuff up (for real), microwaving things you shouldn't, trying to drink beer while being electrocuted, etc.

Cool

I wonder if Call for Help's main audience was those with Tivo's and other PVRs since not many others would be likely to find it at 8am.

I hope DIY, WGN, Discovery or SOMEONE will bring this program back to the USA.

From reading other threads about G4 on other forums, G4 will be moving away from computers and more towards a Spike TV type of channel. They will also be renaming the channel and dropping G4.

If TechTV was ahead of it's time - what does that make the C|Net Central shows?
