Question Flashing LEDs on Tivo Model TCD140060 and No video output

I am having a problem with my TIVO and think it may be a power supply problem.
I was just wondering if anyone has seen this before. The LEDs on the front Panel are flashing, they are not on solid. This is all LEDS and they are flashing very rapidly. This is not a case of a stuck remote button as I have covered the front window and moved it to the garage where there are no remotes. I have no video output at all. I have removed the hard disk and put it in a PC and it seems to work fine but the data may still be corrupt. The hard disk is very noisy (high pitch squeal) but it has been like that for a while. Does anyone know how I can isolate this problem. If I have a bad mother board I don't want to spend money on parts that wont help.

Thanks in advance for the help.

I gather this Tivo is no longer under warranty? You can find replacement power supplies at http://www.weaknees.com

That would be good news. I dont want to give up on my TIVO but that is what
is going to happen when this unit is no longer repairable.

Thanks for your input!
