any way to control Comcast On Demand with Tivo remote?

I use the serial cable for channel changing and that works fine. But to do on demand or pay per view I need to use the comcast controller. Any way around this? I'd like to throw the comcast controller out.

I'm not familiar with how you do the On Demand setup with the Comcast remote.

Can you use the Comcast remote to set up an On Demand showing, and then maybe use a manual recording to tell the TiVo to record it? (I know...no program info on Now Playing later on...right?)

The TiVo can only change channels. It cannot run VOD or order PPVs. You still need to retain your cable remote for those functions.

I am curious how to make my tivo remote change my comcast cable channel. my sister has a cable from her cable box into the tivo but when I tried it, mine isn't working. any ideas?
