Arrow No new Sunday night episodes - ugh!

Here's a partial list of the Sunday shows that did not have a new episode this week:

Rome
The West Wing
Curb Your Enthusiasm
Deadwood
Desperate Housewives
The Sopranos
Entourage

And that doesn't even include relatively recently deceased shows like Six Feet Under, Carnivale and Sex and the City.

Sigh. How the heck was I supposed to wind down my weekend?!? No wonder I've been grumpy all week. Somebody please clue me in on a great Sunday show I haven't discovered before I implode!

Greys Anatomy?

It's the show I wait for all weekend for Sunday night for.

Sopranos???

There hasn't been a new episode in like a year? And probably won't be for another. Not to sound too incredously but

I agree Sundays are starting to go into a lull but once January comes around it'll be packed.

Rome, Curb, Deadwood, Sopranos and Entourage (did that one even ever air new episodes on Sundays?) have all been over for awhile (except for Curb, that was recent) and aren't due back for months at the earliest.

However... I feel your pain. And not just on Sundays. My 'overflow' DVR has only one thing to record over the next few weeks... my daily soap opera! Even my 'main' TiVo is quite sparse thru the first week of Jan.

You are aware that it's December and pretty much every show on every network is not new, right? I'm not sure what you're expecting, but if you understand how TV works, you'll be a lot less disappointed when you turn on your TV and find reruns.

I would second this. I recently picked it up, having been worn down by all the popular and critical buzz on the show, and have found it largely worthy of both. Also, it's easy to come in mid-stream and understand the overall context, who everyone is, and what their relationships and history are. Very enjoyable.

This is the time I try to catch up on my tons of unwatched TV. A three week trip to Scotland did not help. I still have stuff from July waiting to be watched.

Nothing on tonight either. And I don't have any movies left I don't think either.

Maybe work on a computer project or two I have been putting off.

I'm actually enjoying the spate of reruns and shows on hiatus right now. Gives me time to work off my DVD backlog that I've been buying and not watching lately.

Plus HBO seems to be showing all the Sopranos episodes, all the way from the start, so I can finally watch that show (for the first time).

Why worry about Sunday shows? With TiVo just have a backlog of shows from other nights to watch. At least until the Holiday repeats are done.

Only thing is, for all three of them, I missed the last 30 seconds or a minute because I set them to record but didn't 'pad' them in anyway. Kind of pissy. Didn't think I needed to do that - but each of them had me lose the last minute or less. In the Simpsons, it ended with Homer and Grandpa in the hospital hugging after Grandpa told Homer he switched names....
