Exclamation NFL GOTW in HD...which channel?

Last season I watched NFL Game of the Week in HD on channel 94. Anyone know if it's on this season? I tried all the 90's channels at 9pm on Wednesday and didn't see it. Obviously, I'm looking for the HD version and not the regular one on the NFL Network.

Thanks,

Rp

Hasn't been on D* at all this year, in HD. Far as I know nobody has gotten any kind of "not canned" response from them either.

Got bit by the snake, guys. After a bit of research, I found out that the NFL Sunday Ticket contained all the games that it did last year, but the HD feeds only came if you added the Super Fan capability to the package. So you put out $$ for the NFLST, then have to put out an additional $ for the Super Fan package (which I did). The channels for HD switched from the 90's to 719+. I don't know if this is a DTV deal, or a deal from the NFL itself (more likely, as they are probably the most mercenary gang I've ever seen).

That has nothing to do with the GOTW from the NFL Network.

Week 1 had Pitt/Tenn on Ch 99 in HD (was not in HD in the 700s that day). Nothing in the 90s in Week 2 or 3.

To clarify --

Last year, non-OTA HD NFL games came in on 90-96, but only if you bought NFL Sunday Ticket. Non-High Def broadcasts of the games was in the 600 or 700 range. You got a lot of games, and HD was available for selected games.

This year, the NFL Sunday Ticket will get you lots of games, none in High Def. You can still get the OTA High Def feed off Fox like you did last year, (same way you get any High Def feed off Fox) or CBS, but any other High Def output as been:

a. restricted, so that you only get it if you add Super Fan option to your NFL Sunday Ticket package
b. shifted to the 719-726 channel range. The feed you got last year on 90-96 is no longer there, and no longer available with plain NFL Sunday Ticket.

As near as I can tell, that's the ONLY option you have for NFL High Def programming that's not OTA. Please help me out here if I'm wrong.

This thread is not about Sunday Ticket. This is NFL Network programming that premiers on Wed. and Thurs.

First time I've heard that, and there have been lots of threads in AVS forum about it. If it was, it wasn't in the guide. There are now 2 1/2 hours a week broadcast in HD by NFL Network, so I'm not sure why they would have only shown the very first hour and nothing else . . .

As I recall, it was not in the guide. Since this is my first year with HD (10th with NFL ST), I decided to check the upper 90s that first Sunday because they continue to be listed as NFL channels when I configure my Favorite Channels list. I plan on checking every Sunday in the hopeful event an HD broadcast, that isn't otherwise listed in the 719-33 range, shows up!

Oh, so you're not talking about the NFL Network game of the week either...

It was finally on 98 early this morning. I don't know what the guy 2 posts above was talking about. But it very well might have shown up without being in the guide, but I think somebody else would have noticed.

I don't think they were there the first couple of weeks...I just noticed games on the 90 range last week...but all the HD games are in the 720...which is better, since it's a continuous stretch of channels...

Sorry for reviving such an old thread, but i did not think this warranted a new one. For those of you who are fellow football junkies, I noticed that the NFL GOTW is starting to show on channel 95, the HD PPV/special_events channel. The one I watched tonight (not sure when it aired) was from week 1, New Orleans at Carolina. I did not check future games, I just set a season pass.

Yes, I know the season is over. Yes, I am in denial. ;-)

Go Niners! (Yes, I am a dreamer!)

And it was actually in HD? Everything lately in the 90s has had the ugly grey bars that I've seen.

Yes, it was actaully HD (okay, HD-lite, which is as good as it gets for D*) for the program. Some of the snippets from other games were pillarboxed with gray pillars.
