Smile I'm happy with both my Tivos

I just thought I'd take a moment to share something positive.

Me Too! I'm happy with all three of my Tivos. My husband gave me the Pioneer 810 for Christmas a couple of years ago and I've told him it's the best present he ever gave me. So now I have 3 and enjoy playing with them. It's great to send things to my laptop and then watch them on airplanes. For the most part, everything has worked well, and occasional problems have been pretty quickly solved. Bravo Tivo! Long may you survive. Yes!

Me three

Quite happy with my two TiVos. Series 2 80hr & series 2 40 hr refurb networked and humming right along. Shows transfer between them and to my PC where they can be stored or burned to DVD.

Can't wait for the Series 3, HD is good.

I'm also very happy with my Tivo's. While there are many DVR's there simply isn't another product out there that can compare with TiVo.

I'm happy with my Humax Series 2. 14 months and counting.

Well, I do want a second tuner...and a requirement that networks get all guide listings correct...free cable...and...

For me Tivo is pretty much a requirement for watching TV. I'd probably just switch to DVD rentals otherwise.

I love my three Tivo's, bought my first one in 02' and just can't imagine ever going back to watching tv without the little guy. Will probably give one of mine to my sister and buy one the the new dual turner ones when they come out.

I bought my wife "our" first Tivo this past Christmas and we bought the second (used) a month or so later. We're hooked.

I'm happy with my three TiVos. Not so happy with my Comcast box (good picture but lousy human interface and software), and can't wait to replace it with a Series 3.

I'm currently at an all-time high 4 TIVOs, but one will soon be deactivated. I love them each like family members.

May it find itself in a new, happy home.

I was going to make a joke about all us TiVo fanboys, but I figure it'd degrade this thread into a flame war faster than you can say ARWL, so I'll just say that we're delighted with our two units. Couldn't see being without them, and I've got a space reserved for an S3 too.

Stop it! All of you. No one on TiVo Complaints board is allowed to be happy with TiVo. This thread is totally off topic. I insist that the moderators close this thread unless someone complains about something.

Hey, how about that lifetime service? Huh? Huh? It's going away you know.

My 2 year old S2-80hr got the 7.2.2 over a week ago.
Old Linksys Wireless "B" (USB1.1 or something like that) and hasn't rebooted since the initial update boot,
hasn't missed a recording or lost a season pass.
Cut off the last 10 minutes of a couple shows a month or so ago, rebooted and hasn't since,
discovered the solution here before I had a chance to complain about it.

1 year old R10 D*TiVo is chugging along like new, only lost a partial recording a couple weekends ago due to a heavy wet snowfall, nothing prior, nothing since.

1 month old HR10-250 HD D*TiVo hasn't been alive long enough to have problems yet.

I'd say I'm pretty happy with my TiVo's.

If one must complain about something, I guess it's that it took me this long to discover TiVo.

What do you use to burn them to DVD?

Definitely happy with my two functioning Tivos and excited about having time to dig into my nonfunctioning Tivo and explore and repair. BUT since I'm the fix it gal around here, I have to ask: If my daughter's DVD recorder in the Humax unit sometime goes south, can I replace it with a DVD recorder as easily as I'd swap one into her computer?

I'm happy with my Sony SVR-3000, my Toshiba SD-H400, two TiVo 240s and 1 TiVo 540.

I'm not so happy with my SA Explorer 8300HD, but as soon as I can get a HD TiVo it's going back to Time Warner.
