Big Brother 7/10/2014

That was a pretty entertaining episode. I love that Devon was HoH and Veto holder and still didn't get out anybody he wanted to

The Apple Pie and Bald Eagle thing was funny. Donnie was really obvious though, which made it even funnier.

This week should be a much different one with the new HoHs in power.

Good episode, great drama. There is certainly some entertaining characters this season. Zach and Frankie's drama cracked me up. Devin giving himself 4.5 out of 10 made me laugh, even he knows he sucks at that game at this point. Can't say I will miss Pao Pao at all. I did love how she reacted to Donny's message though, you can tell he is genuine and a good person.

As mentioned by dancndude this weeks HoH's will be interesting for sure. I really hope they leave Devin out of the nominations giving them the best chance at a back door eviction.

Zach is such a bad teammate but Frankie is sticking with him. Think it will be time to drop that anchor in a couple weeks.

I don't think I've enjoyed BB as much, this soon in the game.

Also I think CBS editing is much better this year.

agreed, it's the most enjoyable season in a while - following last season, the bar was very low.

over past seasons i've read quite a bit of displeasure (trying to be nice ) over the editing. given the restraints of squeezing 168 hours of events into 3 hours of video to air, i've always given them a lot of leeway.

i think they do a great job of balancing staying true to the events of the house (while keeping the show interesting), and focusing on relationships the producers think will keep the most viewers (who don't watch the feeds).

Yeah, somehow they manage to move all those huge files around even though so many said it was not possible

It won't be nearly as interesting when Devin gets booted. It's funny that he doesn't realize what a mess his game is. Dude, everyone can't be in the same alliance. Then when everyone doesn't agree with what you want to do you leave in a huff. Great stuff.

Are you sure it's not just because it's in HD?

I'm also enjoying it. The past few seasons I'd only watch the Thursday show and fast forward most of it. This season I've watched every episode.

no, that's sweet tho.

It's just all around editing, the catching of the looks, adding sound effects.

i was going to ask "have you ever seen anyone less self-aware", but then i answered my own question.

there's a new drinking game on the live feeds, and now it transfers over to the dr sessions on the broadcast show:
Spoiler:
every time devin mentions his daughter, drink...

Like Donny but he is going to get ate up if he plays by himself. Derrick has a good head on his shoulders.

If Zach goes away will the Team America alliance have a chance to go all the way. You have two likable people in different ways who aren't perceived as threats in Donny and Frankie and a background strategy guy in Derrick. Could work unless the America tasks get too stupid and expose them.

HOH Derrick plus Team America will be very interesting.

I'm so glad it's in HD so that I could come back and start watching again!

I still don't get why Frankie was so mad at Zach unless he said something we didn't get to see. All he said was that he didn't know if Frankie would vote for him. Didn't seem like a big deal.

Zach = a young Brian Austin Green on 90210
Devin = a ******y "The Rock" Dwayne Johnson

You got the 2nd part that he said to Frankie...but you missed Zach at the very beginning of his rant/speech he said I am going to have to expose some people right now sorry and then turning to Frankie he says something like "Don't worry Frankie" … implying he has a tie with Frankie and knows something about his game that he is not going to expose.

I swear there are 2 people in the house that I have never heard a word out of: I THINK his name is Cody and then the girl that looks like she's from the set of "Shaws of Sunset".

I think you are talking about Victoria - if so, to me she looks exactly like a character Nasim Padrad from SNL might portray....like a Jewish princess who lands on Big Brother.

Wasn't Victoria the one who thought she had an alliance with Frankie and then got thrown under the bus? But that one guy I don't remember ever seeing before. Is he in the alliance? Still, for early on I'm recognizing most of them. It's a good season.

Yes, that's her.

Cody won the 2nd HOH, but then Julie told him after a commercial break that his foot touched the ground and had been dq'ed.
