Exclamation Pixelation on TiVo Premiere during Prime Time Shows

Hey Folks,

I did a search for this issue, and did not quite find the answer I was looking for. I have a TiVo Premiere (1+ years old) that has pixelation issues, but mainly on major networks (mostly nbc). For sample we see the pixelation a lot during America's Got Talent. I thought it was a seasonal thing, since I remember having pixelation during previous seasons of AGT. Now we are starting to see the pixelation on other networks (USA, Bravo).

What are the chances this is cable provider? If it is the TiVo, does anyone have any suggestions?

What are your signal levels on the channels you see the pixelation? Look in your diagnostic screen and it shows there.

I just checked, and right now it says 45, but no pixelation at the moment. I'll check when the pixelation starts again. Is 45 good?

Ok. At the end of a period of pixelation, the signal strength was 53. According to other websites, it looks like it might be signal strength issue.

No thats pretty bad. Your signal level should be between like the high 70's to the upper 90's. You might have too many splits in your cable. What kind of setup do you have? How many TV's on your cable?

Actually depending where you live, NBC can have some pretty bad compression issues with their feed.

I receive over the air NBC and getting 100 signal and still at times it can look like crap. Especially when there is a lot of things going on in the screen. I really notice it on AGT.
