Converting .Tivo file

I need to get the .tivo file to something Adobe premiere pro can edit like a .mp4

I have tried SUPER that i saw someone said to use, would only kick out a 10 second file.. Also bought Tivo Plus but that would only convert the files to mobile products i want the files to be 720p (1280x720)

Anyone know how to do this?

You need Tivodecode.

http://sourceforge.net/projects/tivodecode/files/

This will decrypt the .tivo file and leave you with an .mpg file (mpeg-2) that should work with your editing software.

I use VideoRedo, which is a program you have to buy. DirectShow Dump is another easy and free one that I have also used.

If you have a Premiere, turn off the "use fastest transfer method" option in Desktop. Tivodecode can't handle encrypted transport streams properly.

Give kmttg a try!

kmttg pulls together tools for doing the download, decrypt, commercial detection/cuts, and re-encoding to different output devices. It is VERY polished and has a lot of flexibility.

Take a look and give it a try!
