Anyone watching Go On, with Matthew Perry

I think this show is very funny and well-written, and I really look forward to it coming on. Anyone else watching? It is not as good as Arrested Development, but I consider the humor in the two shows to be similar.

I watch. It's just ok. In the middle of the pack sit-com wise.

I'm still watching it, but I don't put it anywhere near in the same league with AD.

Not something we have to watch the night it airs, but a show we enjoy nonetheless.

I like it a lot. It's mostly good-natured, and there is always a couple of pretty good laughs each episode. Like last episode, I cracked up at Fausta adding

"That's a lot of white women"

after seeing a picture of Anne at Lillith Fair.

We like it ok and still watch.

Like someone said, there are always a few good laughs.

We like "New Girl" much, much better as far as new comedies go.

I've watched the first few, and I've liked them, but there are lots of other shows that I'll watch before I dip into the Go On backlog .

Not top of our list, but the DVR recorded the latest ep and it was ok, not great but passable.

We watch and enjoy it. There are others we like better (Happy Endings, New Girl) but its growing on us.

I'm watching, and like it. The characters are quirky enough to keep the stories interesting.

The only thing I don't like is John Cho. I don't know what it is about him, I just don't like him.

This is actually New Girl's sophomore season, FYI. We do watch Go On. i think some of it is funny, but it's definitely not a top-tier comedy.

My tivo only has two tuners so this show never makes the cut, not sure right now what the two are that get the nod. I have it set to 'include reruns' so some, like this past week, was recorded. I guess the other two must be in reruns.

I think the show is only mildly funny. I find both Perry and his character to be less than likeable.

We enjoy it, but as others have said, it gets watched after New Girl, because we like that one better. When Happy Endings was in that same timeslot, it won out over Go On as well.

It's on the lower end of sitcoms I continue watching.. but that's not actually as much of a backhanded compliment as it sounds. (Then again, I watched Brad Garrett's last show all the way through.)

Heck, I watched most of the eps of Perry's PREVIOUS sitcom that aired (though I think I have one on my semi-dead TivoHD drive to recover some time.. I did recover and watch the "Outsourced" episodes I had, over the Xmas break.)

It has grown on me. There's such a large cast that there's plenty to draw from for laughs.

I guess my problem with the show is, I REALLY thought it had a lot of promise to be one of the top sitcoms, even after a mediocre pilot. And yet, it has stayed mediocre. To me, that's disappointing, and perhaps why ratings have dropped. I bet it gets another season, but by all rights it probably shouldn't. Still, it's the perfect show to watch when I have a half hour to kill.

I guess I'm with the majority here. I have watched each episode and I do enjoy it. I enjoy Matt Perry. Is it one of my top three sitcoms, or even top 5? No, I don't think so. As long as it's on and it doesn't totally tank, I will continue to enjoy the show.

With a no name actor instead of Mathew Perry, I'd have dumped it long ago. The crazies are funny, but not enough to carry the whole plot.

I don't like the character of Simone, but I sure like looking at Piper Perabo.

My Tivo picked up the episode last night, where he throws away his wedding ring for Simone but then has second thoughts.

I found nothing funny about this episode at all so I can take my name off the list of "anyone watching...?" To each his own, of course so I'm not going to hang around and thread crap. God knows I watch my fair share of mindless tv.

I'd have to say that episode wasn't one of the better ones. And I think it's a show where the jokes mean more once you've been following along and know the characters.
