New Girl "Halloween" (10/30/2012)

OMG, fantastic episode! We were totally cracking up.

The haunted house scenes were just the best.

Love this show and its characters.

Jake Johnson shrieking -- always funny!

Great lines from Schmidt this time. "You're dressed as the guy who shot John Lennon dressed as a Ninja Turtle."

Funny stuff all around.

Her boy toy being a doctor seems incongruous with the episode when they first met where he appeared to be a complete moron. On the other hand, maybe it's perfectly congruous and it was an act.

this show is one fine example where laugh tracks arent necessary to have a successful show. i wish this would be catching

i disliked her costume and thought she should showcase her beautiful hair..not be all covered up.

i'm still laughing about the cookie ep last week...most girls dont get it

I tried to figure out Nick's costume but clearly I failed. I tried to figure out the Arthur T-Shirt, with the little antenna but I could not. I went back to see if it was mentioned and could not see. I thought of the movie Arthur, but that did not make sense to me.

Superman does keep his pants on. He just wears his colored underwear over them.

That's because Superman doesn't have fleshy tree trunk thighs.

Those are tights. I was referring to his Clark Kent pants.

My recording cut out the last few seconds. Jess was about to throw a punch. What happened next?

Paused, then PUNCHED just after the camera went dark!

I pad this show by 1 min for this very reason!

Thanks. That's kinda how I suspected it played out.

Are you joking? I think he was Arthur from "The Tick".

That's why you need to pad practically EVERY sitcom on nowadays (and non-sitcoms on some channels, e.g. Discovery, E!, MTV, etc.). Fox & NBC are the worst, with the exceptions of the entire channels listed previously.

No, he was definitely Bea/Bee Arthur.

Nick isn't hip enough for a Tick reference.
