Inside Pixar on Bloomberg

No, it's not on CNBC. It's been rerun a few more times.

I recorded it recently and am only have halfway thru it.

I glanced at http://www.bloomberg.com/video/insid...D1VNWEEYA.html and it looks like what was aired.

You can watch it online. Look at the URL in the 1st post.

You might want to also set an ARWL for http://www.tivocommunity.com/tivo-vb...ighlight=pixar.

I forget why, but I ended up looking at the listings for bloomberg over the weekend and ended up recording/watching a few of that show (same one the pixar episode was on).

Most of them are REALLY fluff (and/or I know everything they said already), but even so, they're entertaining.

It is really annoying that Pixar seems to want to make people believe that they were always a company that wanted to make *movies*, instead of being a computer hardware/software company, which is what they originally were. The original shorts were done as demos *to show what their software can do*.

IIRC, this Bloomberg special did at least mention something like "the computer hardware division of Lucasfilm".
