Tempting....but no thanks. Someone's bound to notice (eventually...) that I didn't actually watch the episode I'm commenting on...

i do not know why they were worried about being visible. nothing about their mission to protect her is really secret. plus dressed in those suits in there made them visible to even the ditzy friend.

just thought of something else..letting the kid see where you hide the phone and not locking it with a password to boot..and why not have the phone near you? makes no sense

also i think there was a period of time where when they came back from the old couples house that she let the kid roam freely. no way should she have let him out of her sight.

Are these the same trained FBI agents that were in the news recently for being fired or suspended last year for doing stupid things? Like putting a listening device in a supervisors office, searching a supervisors office, sending naked photos with their FBI Blackberry to coworkers, sexting co-workers with their FBI Blackberry, browsing porn sites on the FBI PCs, repeatedly committing check fraud, using a stolen credit card, in possesion of child pornography..... the list goes on. It's amazing how many, apparently, stupid people work or worked for the FBI.

You Lost me with zero hour. The following and continuum are plausible but zero hour must clearly indicate you are joking

Not joking. Although after seeing the ratings, it will probably end up like the show, The River, which was also on ABC. I started watching it and then it was canceled so I never watched the last few episodes that they aired. But I actually have enjoyed Zero Hour more than The River.

The river was a show I enjoyed. I could tell it was a dead man walking from the beginning though. I wish the speculation of netflix purchasing it would have turned out to be true. Horror/Thriller shows just don't last well on the mainstream networks.

Given these fresh from the news facts, I'm forced to 180 my opinion and now say the Feebs conduct on "The Following" is factual.

Huh?

The Following pulled a 2.9 in demo this week.

It's not going anywhere anytime soon and has been given the full 14 episodes order.

The FBI guy Mike Weston who is supposed to Follow the Kevin Bacon's character is always unable to get there in time to do anything. I think he is a cult member.

I'm convinced there are only 3 types of characters in the following:

1) Those we know are cult members

2) Those we don't know are cult members but will be revealed to be cult members later

3) Kevin Bacon

He is "The Following's" version of "set up a perimeter".

I think I was posting about Zero Hour when I posted that. Yes the ratings for The Following have been decent.
I'm not worried about The Following being cancelled this year.

Well, that's my joke...my actual theory is the only person the writers haven't eliminated as a Follower in their own minds is Kevin Bacon. And I'm dead serious about this. I've come to the conclusion that they're totally 24ing it (who was the actor who was upset when he found out he was the Big Bad for the season..."If I'd known he was a bad guy I would have played him differently"?). Or maybe I should say BGing it (I remember specifically the actor who publicly went ballistic at the notion that his character could be a Cyclon after all he had worked so hard to establish).

Which actor was that in BSG?
It totally ruined what little was left when Moore admitted they just picked 5 cast members as the Final Five instead of having a plan that discerning viewers could hope to notice. And yes they're winging it on potential followers in The Following. OK, except for the kid.

I'm not saying you're wrong, but in this episode he wasn't driving and didn't know where anything was, so I'm not sure how it's his fault they showed up late. Maybe the woman driving the car is a Follower. Maybe they both are!

Michael Hogan.

I think somebody caught him just after he'd found out, and before he had a chance to calm down. He really teed off on the writers. Later, he was a lot more...political about it.
