Question tivo plus service?

I just got around to watching some shows on my DRT800 S2/dvd unit and the last few shows didnt record and I got a message that they were not recorded because it was scheduled with a "Tivo Plus" feature. What is tivo plus? I thought that was the old term for paid service not the free basic service that came with Pioneer/Toshiba DVD units? My unit has full paid lifetime service for the last 6-7 years. Any ideas?

Seems to be happening to S3 HDs as well

It is not the old term. TiVo Plus is the term used for paid service on the Pioneer & Toshiba DVD TiVos only just as TiVo Basic is the term used for the free service available on those same TiVos. Outside of the Pioneer & Toshiba TiVos, those terms don't mean anything.

Several weeks ago the same thing happened to 3 of my 4 lifetime S2s. Rebooting them solved the subscription status but it took several days for the ToDo List to switch everything back from "this will not record because it was scheduled with a Plus feature" to normal operation.

This is a known bug and they're working in it. Restarting the TiVo seems to fix the basic problem, but it may take a day or two for the To Do List to correct itself.

I guess not.

It hasn't happened to me again and I haven't heard anything else until buddhawood's post.

Usually a reboot has fixed it for me. I've seen it 2 or 3 times on various TiVos.

I have had this happen once with an Tivo HD and it was a show that I scheduled over the internet from the Tivo website. A one time, but weird problem.
