Letterman 10-29-12

Surprised Letterman put on a show with no audience. I was a little bit disturb when Alan Kalter comes storming in eight minutes into the show pissed off to the world basically calling Letterman an a**hole for not letting him know there was a show that night. If I was Letterman and this wasn't some preplanned skit I would have told Kalter to go home and stay home.

It was a bit.

I actually loved last night's show. The monologue at his desk off cards with no audience was actually really funny, and the way they had Denzel Washington come in from the storm was excellent too.

My favorite was his joke during the monologue where he mentioned West virginia, and then said to the audience, "Anyone here from West Virginia??" and they quickly cut to the entire room full of empty chairs.

I loved it to. Letterman telling jokes with only a small crew there to laugh at them reminded me of Tom Snyder's old show.

We don't stay up for Letterman very often, but we watched this one. Very fun.

Looks like Dave's doing it again tonight, according to a promo I saw after NCIS.

It's one week from the presidential election and there's no Daily Show.

It's killin' me man!

I found the show painful. I thought Fallon's was better.
