I've only watched the first two eps of this four-part BBC mini-series but so far it's superb. It's a crime drama about three employees who plan and execute a heist at the security depot where they work. It starts with the heist itself - which is thrilling, brutal, terrifying - and then goes back and forth in time to show how it all came about and how it all turns out. Steven Mackintosh gives a great performance as the manager of the depot; a quiet, reserved man who isn't quite as mousy as he first appears.

Highly recommended!

Note that the Brits are taking a time out on July 4th. There is no episode this week. It returns on July 11.

One other note:

Scenes have been cut and shortened to accommodate commercials. If you want to see the whole series, you'll need to get it from another source (I bought it from iTunes and am watching it via Apple TV).

Note the BBCA did the right thing for the comedy Twenty Twelve. They show each 30 minute show in a 40 minute slot, which allows adequate time for commercials.
