Thanks for the explanation, although you did lose me with the HMO and HME discussion, but bottom line the first menu is SD is and second menu is Higher D.
Some additional comments
1. The viewer guide, support FAQ, knowlege base, something should document these details, so users know what is what.
2a. Flickr should be it own app not lumped in with my photos.
2b. If they are going to include some Flickr functionality why not actually include the ability to view my Flickr account (if I had one), and put it where the other photo apps are displayed.
3. Even the quality of the HD photo viewer is not as good as it should be. I understand why a free web based service may need to limit file size and bandwidth usage, but not a dedicated media device getting data from a local server on a high speed LAN.
I am not just talking about resolution, the color, contrast, hue, etc of photos is no where near as accurate as other content (ie recorded broadcasts). That must be a function of compression/transmission, poor image rendering algorithm, or something.
