THAT was a great line. Because it's sadly true.

That was funnier than most of the episode that aired.

Didn't have a strong closing at all, but the rest of it was pretty good.

The ep that aired was probably down there with the Craig ep as the season's worst for me. Cool Drones and The Stand Off were my only highlights and the cold open was possibly the worst ever.

Little slips like that always bug me ... but they did use the Tampa Bay Times Forum as the backdrop for the "mayor" (too bad there's no hockey being played there yet). First the RNC and now this!

Of course, this is how those "little slips" end up happening...

Not really ... Tampa Bay is the area (which includes St. Pete). Tampa is the city. The Tampa Bay Times is the newspaper which holds the naming rights to the arena (it used to be the St. Pete Times Forum before the paper changed its name to more accurately reflect its coverage).

I was a resident of Tampa from 1975 to 1997, so I am somewhat aware of these concepts.

I think that was the first time the voice-over got to say "Live from NY ..." instead of the actress/comedienne. It was always considered an honor to get to say "Live from NY ...".

Then why did you imply that his use of "Tampa Bay Times Forum" was a "little slip" when in fact, that's the correct name of that building?

I think he was just pointing out that we use "Tampa Bay" locally a lot, so someone doing quick research might not realize the distinction between the city and the area.

This is absolutely true of my hometown (that I still live in). We have a shuttered Kmart & Walmart at the moment. Kmart closed and Walmart moved.

I didn't think it was the best episode, but there were a few things I liked:

Jeremy Renner monologue
Your Hometown (So true)
The Stand Off (funny but went on too long)
Maroon 5 performs
Gov. Chris Christie (my favorite Republican)
The Avengers (pretty funny)
Maroon 5 performs

Didnt care for Maroon 5 or Chris Christie. Shut your hole and get back to work.

I still enjoy The Californians but they always drag that sketch out too long.

Your Hometown was brilliant.
