'Homeland' - The Israeli series that inspired 'Homeland' is on Hulu
'Prisoners of War' :
Hulu will be streaming new episodes of the ten-part "Prisoners of War" every Saturday.

Critics may well have sniffed at some of the more superficial plot elements in Homeland, for Prisoners of War is a more realistic and emotionally sophisticated account of what it is like for former PoWs to reintegrate into their families and society.
It's far less slick, as you might expect, but also more quietly compelling
Instead of just one soldier, we follow the fortunes of two men released from a PoW camp in Lebanon after 17 years in captivity

The NY Times critic likes it as good or better than Homeland.

Can you stream this on a TV through Xbox or PS3? Last time I messed with Hulu everything I wanted to watch was web only, meaning it would only stream through a browser. I'm lazy and smart enough to get videos through "other means" that play on my TV just fine without having to hook up audio and video cables from a laptop to my TV.

I believe you can if you get PlayOn. I can stream from regular Hulu to my Roku box with it.

Does your laptop not have an HDMI out?

I cannot abide Hulu if I'm gonna be forced to sit through 90 seconds of the same damned commercials when I rewind because I just I wanted to do a 8 second jump back.

Xfinity OnDemand on Tivo does the same thing. It's really annoying. Why can't they just let me rewind the commercial? You would think they would be happy that someone is actually watching commercials. Instead they continue to give people fewer reasons to put up with them.

It's not rewinding the commercial, Hulu makes you sit the whole, repeated, repeated, repeated same, same, same 90 second commercial block again when you rewind THE PROGRAM. You can't FF or REW the commercials. I think it's an attempt at mind control.
One more reason to use our old friend Terrance.
