pyTiVo not picking up new folders

Hello,
Now that my wife has finally learned how to use pyTiVo without my help, she ran into a problem with folders, and I can't seem to figure it out.

One of the shares has a mixture of shows and folders that contain shows, and it's always worked fine before. She created a new folder inside the share, and put new shows in it, but when we view the share on a TiVo, all the old folders are still there, but the new folder isn't. We can see it fine via Windows Explorer on the PC.

So I tried logging onto http://localhost:9032/ , and looked at the share via that screen. Again, the new folder wasn't visible. So I tried restarting pyTiVo, and that did nothing, so I tried logging off from Windows XP, logging on again, and restarting pyTiVo, and voila: The new folder is now visible on http://localhost:9032/

But it's still not visible on other TiVos in the house. So I tried going into Settings / phone and network (this was on a Series 2 TiVo) and forced it to call into the mother ship, but still the problem remains.

I can see it on http://localhost:9032/ but I can't it on the TiVo. Does anybody have any ideas on the next thing I should try?

By the way, the problem is not limited to folders... She also transferred a show straight to the share (the same share, but not to any folder inside the share), and that show also is not visible on the TiVo, but it is visible on http://localhost:9032/

It sounds to me that port 9032 is being blocked by either an internal or external firewall. Do you use both or just one. If it's the router, you need to fill it the information in the PORT Forwarding feature by informing which IP is used by your pc and that you want to open port 9032. Don't forget to hit apply, now go into Pytivo's page this should be your IP to your pc :9032 choose the settings and the prompt to restart PYTIVO.

Depending on which firewall you are using on the pc, there maybe a few extra steps needed. Personally I just use the hard router firewall and disable the windows firewall so that Pytivo and Streambaby get in without any problems.

False alarm. Apparently I was looking at the wrong share after I restarted pyTiVo. So restarting pyTiVo did fix things. But I know it was missing before I restarted it.

I'm using the built-in firewall that Windows XP give me in control panel. I confess I don't know a lot about firewalls, but I'll look at it to see if it's what caused the delay in the show/folder changes making it to the TiVo NP.

The funny thing is, we've been using pyTiVo for awhile, and this is the first time I've noticed changes not going across.
