Big staff shake-up on Hardcore pawn

Likely a scripted event, Les the owner brought all the employees together and announced an ultimatum. The next employee who screws up would be fired.

Turns out that Rich the goateed, wild hair do'ed dude screws up several times during the episode. If you watch the show you may or may not agree that Rich is one of the most level headed people on the show and supposedly has 25 years of tenure with the store.

In my opinion Les and his two grown kids who run the store are certifiable whack jobs, at least that's the way the show is scripted to look.

The Rich situation is a pretty juicy minor cliff-hanger for the coming weeks, I'll be tuning in the see how it goes.

I hate myself for watching this show but I know it's all fake and just watch it for entertainment.

The same boss that "rehired" the lead security guy that kissed the female employee's butt while searching her?

Gee, wonder where this story line goes

I wanted to watch this show but the 3 leads are so damn unlikeable I couldn't stick with it.

And the yelling. Always with the yelling. I hate listening to that.

Seth is so brave with the beefy security guys hovering around him

His sister, a bit less so. She thinks being a woman protects her.

Les is somewhere in the middle. Senior citizen immunity?

This is one of the few 'heavily produced' that I am addicted to. It is such a train wreck, I love it.

No way they are going to get rid of Rich.

Everyone caught up on the show?

What do you think about the thefts in the store? It seems so fake to me, especially the pieces that were scattered around on the floor where the cameraman just happened to zoom into.

How would he not know there are cameras back there? It isn't hidden, it is right there on the wall.

And Ashley said he pulled thousands of dollars of jewelry out of his pockets when they had him in the back room. He just got to work, so he didn't steal them then. So he was just walking around with all this stolen jewelery in his pockets?

This show annoys me so much, but I can't stop watching it.

I just want to punch them all a few times to relieve any stress I'm having.

I haven't watched since since last season when they brought in the fake delivery guy that had to wait for the ring that Les melted down. They couldn't even put the guy in a real looking uniform.

I'm sure portions were recreated for filming, but the theft and arrest were real. You can google it.

My husband and I had some good laughs over the Les collapses after previously clutching his appendix area recreation.

"I'll never leave my dad-except for five minutes to do this stand up to the camera."

I don't care for the show, but my husband loves it so there you go.

So dumb. They had that dramatic pause before he opened the door to let us know something was going to go down.

I really don't know why I keep watching. But I can't stop.

Yeah. I couldn't take it anymore either. It's just too... much. Even for me. And I have incredibly low standards.

I can't stand it. But occasionally I'm in the room when the husband is watching it. I just was cracking up about how stupid the whole situation was. First the dramatic lower right quadrant grab. Then the sound of shattering glass.

Then the problem that appendicitis makes you completely mute on reality TV. Having walked my Mom through a ruptured appendix and heard about my little niece with one, they're definitely able to talk, although generally it's all "OMG I NEED SOMETHING FOR PAIN!!!"

I think they are better actors than the Pawn Stars. File this under faint praise.
