I am finding the whole current Mara thread very tiresome. This used to be one of my favorite shows, I loved the character interactions. Now, they are each doing their thing, not interacting in any good way, and they are all in conflict. Watching the show is turning into a chore, something I do just in the hope that it will return to something I like.

Agreed. My season pass got deleted this week. I don't care about these characters anymore.

Maybe by the series finale they'll answer the question of why anybody would want to live in Haven, Maine.

I stopped watching when the time ran out for Audrie and she disappeared, or was replaced or whatever. I just figured the show was over. Months later I learn there are more episodes, just haven't made it back.

I fell for Emily Rose a while back and will take her as Mara or Audrey. Although they prettied her up more as Audrey so wishing we get Audrey and all the trimmings back soon.

I preferred her as Lexi.

If anybody else is still watching and hasn't been paying attention to your To Do List, Haven has moved to Fridays at 6:00 (7 Eastern) effective this week...

I always think about this too. I don't know why anybody would continue living in that town.

I miss the old Haven as well. Last season was all about this Mara, Lexi & Audrey storyline. Seems like this season is going to be all about that too. I'd rather the show just get back to the trouble of the week. They could have done this whole Mara thing like the last couple episodes of the series.

Oh please no. The trouble of the week thing was fine for a while then got old. If they aren't going to take a broader view then please just give us a satisfying ending of the series and cancel it.

Yes, I'm glad they're more ambitious than that, and the show is more rewarding to me than it seems to be to most of you.

I suspect that this double-length season (split into two years) is intended to wrap things up, so I expect to see more movement towards resolving the ongoing mysteries (which they've already started late last season with the introduction of Mara and William) as we head into presumably the home stretch.

I don't mind a broader view, but that seems to be all the show is about now. I don't find it all that interesting. It was fine for a bit, but it just feels like they are dragging it out. The whole Mara and William thing seems like something that should be done closer to the end of the series. I just don't see how they can drag it out another 20 episodes.

Perhaps it is just that this season has too many episodes.

That was what I said when I revived this thread a week or two ago. I figured the season going on now was the last. I was actually hoping it was the last season. I was surprised to find out the last season was in fact twice as long as a past seasons.

I'm kinda wondering if I'll still be around 20 episodes from now.
