The more things you add that need to be powered, the more power is needed.
When more power is called for and that causes a problem, suspect the power supply, especially since S2s and S3s are known to have power supply problems caused by faulty capacitors.
Fortunately it's a relatively cheap fix if you know which end of a soldering iron to hold.
