Is there a way (hack or otherwise) to sort the grid channels alphabetically instead of numerically?

So would channel 6 in Columbus go by WSYX (station ID) or ABC (network)?

The TiVo grid lists it as WSYX, as it should be. I just want to sort the existing channel listings alphabetically.

No, but you can remove as many channels as you want from the guide. A favorites guide with 30-50 channels is much easier to navigate than a guide with 300-500 channels.
