Any 2011 Tivo Black Friday / Cyber Monday Deals?

Does anyone know if there will be any "Tivo" black friday / Cyber monday Deals?

The only offer I got was..

$99 + 399 Lifetime (already have a few Lifetimes already) + Slide Remote (Free

or

$79.99 + 399 Lifetime.

Tivo sent me an email stating their "6 day black Friday event" offers a Tivo Premiere for 20% off, $79.99 + $19.99 a month for service.

Offer it for $399 including lifetime and I'll buy a couple for Christmas presents, otherwise their offer sucks.

$19.99 per month is too high. I've got a credit card that has a $25 minimum payment. I could just pay for a lifetime Premiere with the credit card, pay $25 per month and own the Premiere in in 24 months. That's assuming $400 MSD lifetime, $100 for the Premiere and a 20% interest rate. If I go for the $19.99 per month with Tivo, then I have to commit to 12 months anyway. If I decide I don't want the Premiere after a year, my credit card balance is $286 and I can easily sell a lifetime Premiere for more than $286 to pay off the balance.

How do I get the TiVo, Lifetime for the $99 + $399 price? The website says lifetime is $499?

You have to already have a Tivo with service in order to get lifetime for that price.

I just called TiVo and asked... She offered me a free wireless adapter, which I didn't really need so I asked for the remote, which i'll probably use.

I just get the feeling that Tivo trying “unload” all the Premier boxes. I don’t think Tivo going to continue to support or update them. I think all support going to the Elite box (for now). Their primary support is going to be on the Tivo-Q and trying to get Cox, Comcast to offer it to their customers. Also all support is going to be keeping Virgin Media, RCN, ONO, and a cable provider in Texas happy. Don’t be surprise if next year the only way to get VOD from Comcast or Cox on a Tivo is to rent the Tivo-Q from them. I hope I am wrong but this just my impression.

Thanks BladeZ for the tips.

I called and got a guy who told me that I couldn't get a slide remote free and still get the black friday deal for the Premier $79.99. I would have to pay $99.99 for the Tivo to get the slide remote free. I even asked if I bought lifetime service, could I get the TiVo for $79 and he still said nope. So I hung up to think about how bad I wanted the slide remote compaired to the savings.

I got a better sales guy on my second call. I wanted to see if I got the same run around. I ended up with The Premier for $79.99 with a free slide remote and a free wireless g adapter for going with the $499 lifetime service.

I'm happy with the deal I got being a 1st time TiVo Subscriber.

I had checked my local Best Buy and they didn't have any special deals. Just normal prices.

BestBuy has the 10% and 12% coupons that can be used on the Premiere. But that still won't make it as good a deal as you got for a first time user.
