2013 Tournament of Roses Parade

Setting the TiVo for the parade again this year. Ugh, another year 'listening' to Sieglinde gloat about KTLA's coverage.

Now I see from the older thread what you're talking about...

Better set up Hallmark Channel for that timeslot, then.

Can't stand parades. A bunch of people walking/riding down the middle of the street essentially pleading "look at me!"

Is that a threadcrap?

Lol and yay I don't live in KTLA land anymore but Hallmark is carrying it intact as if I magically was receiving one of the world's longest running TV stations in the North Bay Area. Thank you Hallmark.

I was watching Hallmark's coverage until they popped up that thing about The Seven Year Itch then I switched to HGTV.

did you move from Ridgecrest then?

Speaking of, one of the kids from our high school here (in Ridgecrest) is in the honor band marching in the parade. Our high school didn't make it, but one of the kids did end up getting to go. Look for the band with white pants and red and blue jackets and white hats.

If you didn't watch the parade you really missed out. Awesome floats, great bands, When the soldier surprised his wife and kid how could you now be emotional. Perfection.

Did you guys know about this?

http://www.cnn.com/2013/01/01/us/han...html?hpt=hp_c3

I didn't-we only watched a little of the parade before we left the house-my daughter LOVED it though. I wish we'd DVRed it, now. I saw her in a couple of shots but didn't notice anything.
