Netflix Audio Question

I have a question about audio (surround sound) from Netflix on my Roamio Basic.

Netflix uses Digital Dolby Plus for surround sound. I have an older AVR with no HDMI inputs and it doesn't support DD+.

Does the Roamio "transcode" DD+ from Netflix to legacy DD5.1 on its optical digital audio (Toslink) output? If it can, are there any special settings I need to be aware of?

I already use the optical output for all recorded content as my TV doesn't decode DD5.1 from its HDMI inputs, only its own tuner.
