Oh, I know... but im saying it kinda seems like a bad idea to buy.. if you buy a digital copy movie from Amazon, or any of the other many choices you can access the movie "forever"(ish).
If you change providers, cut the cord, or move and Comcast doesn't service that area, or if you've only got tivo boxes and you move to an area that the on-demand isnt active or if someday tivo no longer offers the on-demand functionality for whatever reason, you're screwed.
Their IOS app just got a major overhaul to add live streaming a bunch of channels. No functionality on there (at this time) to rent or buy on-demand.
All that said, I sometimes wonder if anyone is buying digital access to movies, really. I know its hard for me to conceive of spending as much as they are asking for buying access to streaming, not even getting a digital copy. It would be interesting to see sales numbers on this.
