Fall 2013 Update Problem

Ever since my two Series 4 Tivo's received the Fall Software Update on Nov. 16,they fail to connect to the network with "connection interrupted". "Test Internet Connection" works ok. My Series 3 Tivo works ok as does my Roku device. Anyone else with the same problem? Someone have a solution?

Are you using the TiVo Wireless N adapters? Other users have reported the same issue and it seems something with the update "breaks" the adapters. If you're using the wireless N adapters, try using the small " reset" button and reconfigure them as if you just purchased them .

I'm having issues too - ever since the fall update. I'm using the wireless "N" adapters and whenever I try to transfer shows from one TiVo to the other, performance gets so sluggish to the point that the unit is unusable. Even live TV starts and stops. And forget about using Netflix.

I will try tatergater1's fix when I get an opportunity.

Hate to say this, but dumped the network adaptor for Ethernet. Modem and router on second shelf of coffee table, Ethernet cord runs around baseboard behind furniture. Best if modem and router in living room, my laptop has turned to wifi only unless I want to troubleshoot (long cord in living room works great to den in temporary basis). I'm going to be installing moca with Ethernet to host, the TiVo techs will tell you wired is always better than wireless. Ethernet cables cheap and good off amazon.

Small reset and reconfiguration fixed mine

Had the same issue with N adapter after the update. I reset and reconfigured and all is well (for now?).
