Supernatural - "Slumber Party" - 10/29/13

Nice little Wizard of Oz for Halloween week.

"Ding dong bitches"

Not much to say about this one. It was a nice one off and you know Charlie will be back. I love that she got to be the hero.

I also liked Sam saying "of course she'll be back, there's no place like home". Was that him finally giving in to Dean about the bunker being home? I mean I do get why he would hesitate to call it home or get too comfy anywhere. Better to be ready to bolt at a moment's notice. Pretty much been their life.

I didn't like that Charlie just kept Dean's secret without further question. Or how Sam seemingly let it go who "Zeke" is. I hope that comes back up next week.

And lastly. Finally a place baby can call home.

I really love that Supernatural episodes can run the gamut from pure horror to quirky camp. It's part of what makes the series so good, for me. But this episode - I don't know - it just didn't do it for me. And the preview for next week had me rolling my eyes a bit.

I think this is about the dumbest thing they've ever done on Supernatural.

They are really wasting the actor that plays the King of Hell, I wish he had more of a role.

I thought the episode was ok, I enjoy the "bunker" flashbacks.

It's a scheduling issue with Mark Sheppard. I think they are just trying to keep him in the story until he's free to film more, which I'm pretty sure is happening now.

OK monster of the week episode. Something felt off though.

And I don't like having Zeke around to always bring people back from the dead. Makes for lazy writing.

I can't help but see Penny from Dr. Horrible's Sing along blog.

That is not what I thought Dorothy would look like.

On to the next episode.

I hope they're actually building towards something with that, he's going to get pretty tired of being Dean's puppet.

I always like seeing Felicia Day and cute episode but in the long run, it really doesn't contribute much else to the series.
