Yup, I expect to see nothing but car repairs and hookers the rest of the season.

One thing I didn't get - what was the big deal with Pounder taking off the wig and saying something about 'going hood?' Was it supposed to indicate that she was actually scarier than she's seemed so far??

If the previews don't lie (and they often do!) I'm looking forward to some action next week!

If all she's going to do is push up the date of the trial for Tara and prosecute herself seems like kind of stupid scene. Have to wait and see if it actually means more.

When she first took off the wig, I thought that maybe she had cancer or something. Now it appears that she was just covering up her more "African American" hairstyle, with a straight hair wig. Is that what I am getting, that she wears a straight wig to conform to a less ethnic stereotype?

I think she had some sympathy with Tara's situation with the club but when she refused immunity the scene was a physical demonstration that the DA was wasn't going to play by the book, get it done whatever and however.

"Time to go hood, sister." She's going to turn the heat up on Tara but we all know that Toric and the dead escort are going to blow up in her face eventually and Tara will walk with a slap on the wrist.

Didn't SAMCRO use Boyd in a sting a couple of seasons ago? He's still disturbing.

I hope Gaalen dies a very, very, very painful and drawn out death.

It will most likely happen and it may be the Irish who end up doing it.

Yes, although it will need a good sanding and recoating. And maybe some new legs.

But the surface is intact, if charred.

How sad that Tig didn't get to see Venus. For him and for us.

I think he will eventually. Otherwise, what was the point of bringing that character back?

Be funny if Tig ended up being her knight in shining armour and take care of that branch that sticking out in her family.

Could be a season end-er. Typical, Oh you thought we let this go?

I loved her gift for language. "low hanging branch of my gnarled family tree". And her prosthetics were good too!

A great episode, overall.

Loved the Bobby twist.

And the chipper attitude when raiding the junk yard. That was fun.

I wanna join up.

Yeah, all in all, things are looking up.

Which can't be good, at this point in the season.

The rest of the season will be all Tara and Nero in LA Law (staying out of jail) and Divorce Court (getting the kids away from the club).

Some stuff might still get blown up in between.

I haven't paid attention to the opening sequence in years but I noticed that Gemma's chest scar was prominent in this last episode's. Has her chest always been displayed? Didn't she have heart troubles in the early seasons? Maybe if we're lucky, Jax will kill both Tara and Wendy for trying to take his kids away and Gemma will have a fatal heart attack from the shock. I'd really like a Teller family drama free season next season.

Gemma's scar has always been in the opening.

I think the guitar chord that plays at the beginning of the opening is different. Am I imagining that?

No. Kinda freaked me out the first time (that's my cue to start 30-second-skippping)!

I agree, that opening chord is different.

I figured Bobby had to be recruiting for SAMCRO, both in terms of storyline and in terms of the show just flat out needing more guys to keep moving forward. But I didn't expect it to be as drama free as it wound up being.

I enjoyed how shocked the IRA Kings were that Jax had let their guys live. Maybe the first seeds of them letting Gaelin get his without it starting a total war?

I was a little confused here. Did they misdirect us to believe that Bobby was recruiting for a SOA Nomad chapter when he was really recruiting from the other SOA chapters for guys to come to the Redwood chapter?

Yes, he appeared to leave in a tiff, mad at Jax for how things were being done. They also made it clear he hadn't been contacting Jax/Redwood, they had no idea what he was doing, or where he was.

Plus there was the "four to re-open the Nomads" info, and the fact that he recruited three other people...

What was with the Lightning patch they were talking about? Bobby referenced it and so did one of the other Presidents. I don't remember anything about that before. I am sure it is just my memory from the long hiatus between these seasons.
