I'd be lying if I said I wasn't excited for the second season. It's one of those shows that you keep watching even though you know it kind of sucks.

Funny, I would describe it the same way.

Heck I forgot how the last season ended. They were all in the underground bunker with the "others". Did they turn the lights on? I guess I better go find a synopsis before I watch the premiere.

They turn the power on, but Randall locks himself in a room that they can't get into it. He launches nuclear missiles towards Atlanta and Philly and then shoots himself, saying he's a patriot. Cut to a scene with the President being told Randall did his job, time to get back to the States or something like that. They are in Guantanamo.

yes more walking in terrain not matching the dialogue setting. For this season I expect them to be in Oregon but shoot location is here in CO.

Another one of those shows that started out good and kind of went off the rails. By the end of the season I wasn't sure if I wanted to keep watching. I kinda liked the finale, so I'm back for at least the first couple of episodes and I'll go from there.

Not excited or disinterested, just kind of, "ok, I'll watch".

The shows creator kind of agree with you.

Exactly how I looked at it. It just got very convoluted and hard to follow. Hopefully it will be better. I still like the premise.

What's really strange about this show is that it actually got cancelled about 6-8 weeks after it first aired last Fall. The remainder of the unaired episodes were rescheduled to air mid-season. I guess the market share for the show picked up in the 2nd half and they decided to keep it around for another season.

I always love how they hype it as the hottest show of the season when they had already written it off.

According to the networks, EVERY show is the hottest new show of the season.

You've posted that twice now here and both times you are completely wrong. You're just talking out of your ass right now. Nothing you posted in that post ever happened.

Yeah...they were just doing the standard split schedule that every show does now.

Nope, didn't get cancelled, and in fact it was purposely held back so that they could team it with the spring premiere of the voice. I think ratings were better first half and a lot of us questioned that strategy since the show is serialized and it makes it hard to remember what happened after a couple of months.

Me too.

Since the missiles launched does that mean that the power was turned back on? For everyone, globally? I guess that it did not set the atmosphere on fire, or whatever the power protection people were worried about?

Man, I guess I should re acquire the finale before I watch the season opener tonight.

I realize that, but if I check my scheduled recordings the 2 NBC shows do not show up, they have to be deleted and then set up again, I read on a FIOS forum that this has happened to a lot of other people so I figured I would put it out there in case there were other FIOS users so they could check their schedules.
