TIVO Remote & Apple TV

Anyone get an Apple TV to function on a TIVO remote...Cant find any codes or anything, just curious..

Yep. Doing it here.

The appleTv can be trained to learn TiVo remote commands. You'll just need to flip the 1/2 switch so as not to confuse your TiVo

On my glow remote there is no physical switch, so I use the TiVo-Pause-2 soft switch.

Make sure the Tivo isn't set to address zero, and that both sides of the DVR1/DVR2 switch set to addresses other than zero as well.

How do you train the AppleTV?

Settings > General > Remotes > Learn Remote

Be sure to train with your TiVo remote first set to DVR2, else you'll be controlling TiVo and AppleTV at the same time which will produce some unexpected results.

Can this be done with a roamio remote? Is there a way to switch it to a 2nd mode?
