Bates Motel: Producers tease Season 2 and Freddie Highmore visits the Writers Room

According to this article in the Hollywood Reporter, Bates Motel had a panel at this years Comic Con and talked about the general direction of Season 2 for Bates Motel.

(There are some minor spoilers in the article but they're pretty general, IMO. Those very anti spoiler may want to avoid reading the article.)

They also showed a rather humorous video of Freddie Highmore visiting the Writers on the Universal lot to explain why he wasn't sitting on the panel.

Ugh...I still have this past season's last two eps on my TiVo and may never watch them. I was totally unimpressed.

Excellent! Carlton Cuse was great in the Lost podcast, hopefully he'll be as entertaining in this after show.

That video was posted here when they originally released it (here being TCF), I just don't remember which thread.

Thanks for the info, Malcontent. I'll have to schedule this addition. Looking forward to S02.

Why is the aftershow not showing up as available for a SP? There is no episode scheduled following the second ep of Bates Motel. It looks like a one off sort of thing.

Funny vid. Looking forward to both shows. "I speak 17 languages"

I should have known he was a Brit. AMC seems to love hiring them to play Americans.

Love the video. Thanks for sharing, JYoung.

I just found out yesterday, during the marathon and the mini-interview bits, that Freddie is a Brit. I never cease to be amazed at how seamlessly British actors are able to do American accents.
