clear and delete old hard drive.

I going to replace my Hard drive Monday afternoon I hope. Should I do a clear and delete the old drive before replacing with the new drive.

Depends on what you are going to do with the old drive. I would take the packing that comes with the new drive and use it to store the old drive as a drop in backup.

Does this new drive have the TiVo software already installed? If not, you'll need to get it from somewhere, such as the old drive. The Upgrade Center would be a better place to ask about this.

Not going to be doing anything so I could keep it the way it is.
