Thinking of purchasing Videoredo Plus

If I purchase it and my computer's hard drive gets fried, am I out the $50 it cost me? Or can I redownload it for free? Are there any free equivalents to Videoredo Plus? I just need something simple that will let me manually remove commercials and transfer back to Tivo while keeping the closed captions.

When you purchase you get a registration key, so as long as you have that key you can re-install as needed.
Roamio Pro (GigE)
Elite (MoCA)
Premiere (MoCA adapter)
Cox - Motorola CableCards & TAs
Slingbox 350 via TiVo Mini & TiVo Stream for remote viewing

There aren't any equivalents to Videoredo, paid or free.

It's an excellent program and well-worth every penny.

I just wish that they would make an OS-X version, but understand that Mac's support for MPEG2-TS is virtually non-existant and DirectX does not exist on it either, and quicktime probably isnt up to supporting an app like VRD.
