Question 'HBO Go,' yes; 'Showtime Anywhere,' no on TW

I love HBO Go, which allows you to watch all the previous seasons of a show so you can fully appreciate the new episodes. I only recently got HBO after many years and I used it to catch up on "Game of Thrones," "The Newsroom," "Boardwalk Empire," "Girls" and "Veep."

I likewise recently got Showtime after many years, but it's been much harder to catch up on "Dexter," "The Borgias," and "Shameless. I have to buy the episodes or wait for a marathon to record them. pia.
I still haven't seen the first season of "Homeland."

Time Warner provides HBO Go, but not Showtime Anywhere, does anyone have an idea why this is?

Showtime Anywhere isn't as good as HBOGo anyway. They do not allow the Showtime Anywhere app on TVs or TV connected boxes, only on portable devices like the iPad. So watching shows is a lot less convenient even if you do have access to it.

If you have Apple TV, you can mirror from you iPad to your TV. Not ok, but workable.

I will, of course.
Do you really expect me to get a candid answer?

These networks have to workout deals with the individual providers to provide authentication to their system. My cable company, Charter, made that deal 6 month ago and announced Showtime Anytime was coming and we still can't access it. Apparently integration with these services takes time.

The problem is that the PRISM tap to the NSA takes the time. They're backed up with work orders while the new Utah datacenter is being built up.

Don't you know how long it takes for the government to finish a project? Then you have payoffs, err cost overruns that sap the budget.
