DirecTV quality?

Lately, Ive noticed more pixelation and movement distortion from my DirecTV box. For example, last year The Good Wife was crystal clear on all fronts. Now I can easily notice this distortion and pixelation on occasion.

Has DirecTV downgraded the down link signal, or is it possible for my TV to flake out in such a manner?

What are your signal levels like? Your dish may have shifted, leaves grown in, etc.

I haven't detected any picture quality issues in my system.

Satellites do drift a tiny bit and your dish may need just a smidgen of alignment. Check your signals; this is where the DirecTV Protection plan can pay off as dish realignment is covered!

Satellites do drift back and forth but nowhere near enough to affect the signal.

They sure did when I had C-Band, I had to tweak the dish from time to time.
