pyTiVo question regarding my home network

Hello, I have pyTiVo running on a Windows XP computer. On that computer is where I run the pyTiVo server (pyTivo.py), and that same computer is where I access my TiVos via google chrome pointed to "http://localhost:9032/", so that I can pull shows off it, moving them to my NAS.

However I have a few Windows computers in my house all on the same network, and I'm pretty sure that "http://localhost:9032/" doesn't work on any of them, but the one where pyTiVo was installed. So my question is: Can I really not use any of the other computers on the network to move shows from a TiVo to my NAS? I have to use the one that's got pyTiVo installed on it?

No, you can use any of them. You just have to give them the right address. e.g.

http://192.168.1.12:9032/

or a name, if it has one. ("localhost" is just a DNS name for 127.0.0.1. That address is known as the loopback interface, and it always points right back to the computer you're on. You need a different address to access one machine from another.)

That is why it is called "localhost". It is the local machine.
