tivopedia.com says that model came with a 120GB Seagate from the factory, although they might have put in a 160GB and artificially limited it to 120GB, depending on what was available how cheap at the time.
No one has specifically mentioned that model on the adapter thread, but since it's an S2 it'll most likely work with a JMicron or Marvell chipset based SATA/IDE adapter.
You'll get a lot more GB/$ with a SATA drive, if you can find an older model up to 1TB.
