This show is getting better and better.

Loved how none of his former Friend's cast-mates would come on the show.

Sean needs to get over it. I was happy to see him and Beverly getting back together but then he blew it.

And I still laugh at all the references to how old Morning is, and how shocked Beverly is every time it comes up.

Oh, and Matt's topless stalker started the show. Can't forget that.

The way it played out was perfect for the show, so I really have to give them full credit and believe that they planned it that way.

But I really WANT to believe that they actually tried to get a Friends co-star to guest-appear and couldn't, so they decided to turn it into a plot-point.

I had to google the woman that plays Morning. I was shocked to find she's in her late 20s. I guess the show had me convinced that she was older so much, that I figured the actress playing her was at least in her 40s.

And shes been in a lot of stuff that I've seen, but never knew of her until this show. Didn't know she was in Supernatural (one episode) & the spin off Ghostfacers. Also didn't know that there was a spinoff to Supernatural...even if it's only a webseries.

I'll check that out.

Wow, Is this thread difficult to find. What wicked humor on the part of this show's creators, titling it "Episodes."

Caught the season finale last night - laughed out loud all the way through. Very well done. I will sorely miss it.

This and "H+" are two shows named by people not entirely in tune with the Internet/Google Era...

I'm tempted to say, "Google it, you GENIUS!"

It's a pretty high-end science fiction web show. Very professionally done, by serious Hollywood people (Bryan Singer is the guy in charge).

This is one of the best written shows on TV. And of course it helps that many of the lines are for the Brit couple, as anything said in an English accent instantly becomes twice as witty.

Loved the bit where the guy they fired who is now a HWood big-shot, is doing a show about two Brits who come to America to do a show that fails...you know where this is going.

The one thing that wasn't as funny this season was Daisy Haggard's character (Myra). Last year her expressions were a meme on their own. This year just a farcical shadow of the meme.

I hope we get another season of this.

Love the Brit couple - even though they are both kinda creepy and look like brother and sister. For some reason I am STILL drawn to them!

I thought the finale was perfect- haven't laughed out loud so hard in a long, long time.

This entire season was one of the best of any comedy in a long time. We loved every minute of it.

Really hoping we get at least one more season- if it does come back it is going to be very interesting to see where they go with the story, since they have pretty much blown the whole show up (plot-wise).

Matt LeBlanc was on a talk show recently and said most of the series has been shot in England because it was cheaper. Obviously the two writers of the show are British, and there was a Brit friend or two that we saw, but it seemed like a pretty American cast.

Well, looking at IMDB I was surprised and impressed by the number of Brits in American accents are in the show. And it's amazing how a few exterior shots can make you believe the show is in LA.

But I have to remember that CSI: Miami would film exteriors and helicopter shots for two weeks in Miami every year while the rest was shot in LA. How come it's cheaper to shoot Episodes in London and pretend it's LA, but it's not cheaper to Shoot in Miami instead of LA? More creative Hollywood accounting?

Miami is in the US, so it doesn't have the foreign advantages that England has (it's still subject to the same American union rules, labor laws, etc.). And LA is the center of the (film) universe, so it has a far more massive infrastructure in place. You have access to the best of anything you need at your fingertips, without having to import anything from, well, LA.

Rob...I live in Miami, and I understand the need to remind us once in a while that we are still in the USA. (My father's joke for years is the best part of living in Miami is it's so close to the United States.)

That being said, Florida is a "right to work" state when it comes to union rules and regs. There are union workers, but there are more non-union labor on film shoots here. Burn Notice has shot here for six or seven seasons. The Glades shot both of their seasons on location here. But CSI:M would do 2-3 weeks worth of location work and establishing shots for the entire season. And it was embarrassing for them and a source of frustration for me when they tried to play off Santa Monica beach, with mountains in the distance, for Miami beach.

But back to Episodes, I always assumed that London was a more expensive city in which to live and work than LA. Not that LA is cheap, but at least it looks like LA all the time.

A television set is a television set, though, and when you're filming a show that's set on a television set, it doesn't really matter where the television set you're filming your show on is located, just where it's set.

Um...

I don't know. I think on a show like this where Los Angeles is almost a character in itself, it would be nice if they could shoot it there.

Is this show produced by a UK company or Showtime? I assume it's a UK company because it aired in the UK a couple of months before it aired on Showtime.
